Inspiration Boards | All that glitters…

Hello lovely readers,

After a somewhat breezy and wet start to the year, I’m going to be brightening up your screens with some summery inspiration boards over the coming weeks. If you read my Kick Start Your Wedding Planning post then you might be starting to plan your ideas for your big day, so hopefully my inspiration boards will provide some different ideas to help you along the way (I didn’t intentionally mean for that to rhyme, but we’ll go with it!)

Today I’m starting with ‘All that glitters’, as, well – who doesn’t love glitter?! It’s a colour which can lend itself to a wedding palette in any season if paired with the right tones. It adds a touch of glamour to peach and blush in Spring & Summer, and adds that extra sparkle to a darker or even monochrome scheme for Winter. You could even throw in some orange hues for a bright burst of colour. There are so many ways you could incorporate glitter into your wedding day, and you can embrace it as much or as little as you’d like! For this mood board I’ve gone for a Summer peach and blush palette. What do you think? Will you be using glitter on your day?
