Last week I worked on an amazing photo shoot with some wonderful industry suppliers, at Brightwell Vineyard in Oxfordshire. I had a vision to create an Enchanted Forest styled shoot, to provide Brides with inspiration on decorating an open woodland space for a Ceremony. We also added some other elements to inspire - such as a hanging cake(!!), and a table setup. It was a super fun day, and I can't wait to share the images (from the talented Plenty to Declare Photography) with you soon. In the meantime, I thought I'd share my mood board for the shoot with you, as an insight to the inspiration I drew from for the design...
Last week, as part of my Inspiration Boards series I shared a Rustic Elegance mood board with you. Following on from the theme of playing with textures and combining styles together, I've put together an Industrial Chic board this week. There are some incredible industrial style wedding venues in the UK (just take a look at some of these beauties featured on Coco Wedding Venues!) and the sky really is the limit when it comes to bringing them to life for a wedding celebration. Some industrial buildings can be fairly dark inside, so brighten them up with your colour scheme, and get creative with lighting ideas!
As always, there are many more inspirational ideas for this style on my Pinterest boards.
A couple of weeks ago, I continued my Inspiration Board series with some Bohemian Vibes inspiration (if you missed it, you can still read the post below). This week, whilst I've been full of inspiration for a rustic outdoor styled shoot that I'm planning for later in the year, I thought I'd put together a rustic elegance mood board for you all.
I've always loved the rustic look (and luckily so do many of my couples!), and am continually experimenting with adapting the style to suit each couple. In the last year or so, I've noticed lots of pretty, more elegant details sneaking in amongst the crates and barrels, and I have to say I absolutely love it! When creating a Rustic Elegance style for your wedding, select your key pieces, and don't be afraid to play around with different textures, fabrics and colours to get the look you want. What do you think? Are you trying to create a Rustic Elegance style for your wedding? There are many more ideas to help you in your planning on my Pinterest boards!
Good morning lovelies! Continuing with my Inspiration Board series; this week I'm bringing you a fresh Bohemian look for a Wedding Ceremony. Whether your ceremony is taking place indoors or outdoors, you can bring the look and feel of bohemia to your venue in the form of fabrics, colour, textures and lighting. I've introduced elements of nature into the concept with dipped and painted features to create a driftwood garland for a Ceremony backdrop. You could also use dreamcatchers for a romantic dreamy effect. I created this mood board for one of my couples, who are planning a Bohemian rustic style wedding for 2016. I'm super excited to be creating some of these elements for them - so watch this space to see the results!
